Day in Brighton + Rocky Horror Show

Friday 18th December 2015. What a manic day – but worthwhile.

Around 9AM, we ventured to the train station and made our way to Brighton. A 2/3 hour journey – my favourite kind. I love long train journeys!

The Christmas Tag

So it is almost Christmas and I am slowly beginning to feel festive again (I was already rocking out to the Christmas tunes in July!)

I was reading my housemate’s blog, over at The Birds and the Butterflies, and I saw that she has done ‘The Christmas Tag’ as part of her Blogmas! She has some really good posts, go and check them out!

I quite enjoy the whole concept of doing tag posts as they are fun to answer but also a good way of getting to know the writer too!

My Bucket List

In our everyday lives, it is so easy to get caught up in the rut of over-working and the world of advanced technology that we do not take the time to appreciate various countries, activities, and people, etc. By making a bucket list of things you would like to do in this lifetime, it gives you something to look forward to and can provide a sense of achievement and fulfilment when you complete these and can finally tick them off.

Bucket lists can provide a sense of direction in life and by trying out new activities, it can make your life a little more interesting by completing activities that you would not normally do on an everyday basis. It can boost your self-esteem from the sense of achievement and actually going out of your way to do something that can seem daunting but provide such a thrill, for example; skydiving.

The following link gives some very convincing reasons to start a bucket list. For example, ‘thinking about your list will remind you of your “why” and “periodically reviewing your list is a great way to re-energize”.

Shopping Haul!

Anyone who knows me in the slightest knows that I physically cannot go into town and not buy anything. Even if it is the cheapest thing to ever exist. I have no sense of budgeting. At all. Ever.

This probably doesn’t help when I am a student at university too and I am also not very likely to use these products on myself. I often buy something because it is what everyone is raving about or it just simply looks pretty. Oops.

I actually went into town this week and might have slightly overspent… Like… Majorly. But rather than putting them away and never letting them see daylight again, I thought I should at least put these products to some use. So I am going to share what I have bought with you in a “shopping haul” style blog. Let me know if you have actually used any of these, I am interested in your reviews and opinions too!

My Make-Up Routine

Hi again!

So this blog post is a little different, and more beauty based. But I hope you enjoy!

I love being nosey and taking a look at what other people include in their make-up routine, whether that is my friends’ routine or just reading similar blog posts, so I thought I would do a blog post on my own make-up routine.

I am not a very experimental person when it comes down to cosmetics – I tend to find certain products that work well for me and will hardly ever stray from that routine. I will occasionally add the odd bit of eyeliner or change the foundation I use, but I almost never wear different colours of eyeshadow or lipstick. I love nude shades (and the occasional pink for lipsticks!) and I always will.

Friends

There is no where near enough time in the world for me to preach about how my friends have saved my life. And no, that is not an exaggeration.

I will try to keep it to the basics.

In elementary school, I had three friends. That’s right. Three.
However, the reason for this is because I am extremely precise when it comes to my definition of “friends”. Sure, I spoke to pretty much everyone in my class, but I am not the kind of person to classify someone I merely talk to a few times a week as a friend.

I think it is safer this way. Well, for me anyway.

Photography #1

So... we meet again.

Well, technically it should be “So… here I am communicating to you via a screen again”. But I think we can both look past that.

I know I have not posted in, like, A GAZILLION YEARS. Please accept my apology. It is very sincere. I will send you cookies to prove it?

Rather than me taking even longer to write a lengthy post on some random topic, I thought I would share some photography shots I have taken (do not fret though, as I am currently in the process of writing a lengthy post.)

I am very proud of how these photos turned out because they were taken using a Samsung mobile phone camera. Who would have thought Samsung actually have good quality cameras? But, nevertheless, they make me smile whenever I look at them and they bring back memories I will never forget.
