Empties #3

Hi everyone, I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and are as excited for 2019 just as much as I am!

As much as I like to buy new products, take pleasure in breaking the seal and the packaging and then seeing if they really live up to the hype, I find more satisfaction when I finish a product. There is just some sense of accomplishment that I actually used a product so much that it is finally finished. Is anyone else like that? Or just me? I enjoy writing these empties posts because, not only do I get to share and see for myself what products I have finished up, it also means that I get to try out new products now that these ones are done with.

Since my last Empties post, I have really tried hard to stick to one product and finish it up. It means that my skin has a consistent routine and also my collection isn't overflowing. So, here are the products I have used up recently...

Wingz* Review

Have you ever wished that you could use your summer tops and dresses all year round? I was recently sent a pair of Wingz* to review and I am super impressed! I wear a lot of darker clothing so the black pair were perfect for my everyday outfit choices.

I received a black plain stretch pair of Wingz in the size 1. This size is for UK 12-16. Their other sizes can be seen below. How many other companies sell items from sizes 6 to 28?!

Empties #2

I absolutely love buying new products to test out and see if they really live up to the hype, but I find it much more satisfying when I finish a product. Over the past few months I have been trying to use up what I have instead of building up my ever-growing collection of hair products and makeup. So, let’s get into my most recent empties…

Current Everyday Makeup

I feel like I have been on the hunt for products that I would describe as ‘holy-grail’ and that I couldn’t go a day without using, but to this day I am still searching for them. I have a few products that I use on a daily basis that just about make me look slightly more awake and lively. I work in a secondary school so I need something quick for the mornings that isn’t too overdone but covers everything that I need it to. I wrote a post on my morning skincare that I do everyday before my makeup routine so you can check that out here if you haven’t seen that already… but for now, here is my everyday makeup routine.

Evening Skincare Routine

One thing that genuinely gets me through the day is knowing that I will be able to do my evening skincare routine at the end of it, and I am not even ashamed by that! My night time skincare for me really winds me down and helps me to be calm before I go to sleep. I recently wrote about my minimal morning skincare routine, so if you would like to read that then you can find it here.

My evening skincare includes a lot more products as your skin works really hard to renew and repair whilst you are sleeping so I like the products I use to help my skin restore itself thoroughly.
